The Influence of Carbon Black on the Rheological Properties of Rubber Compounds.

Abstract:

V tejto diplomovej práci nájdete obecné uvedenie do problematiky vplivu sadzí na reolo-gické vlastnosti kaučukových zmesí. Je tu riešený jednak vpliv plnenia sadzí a tiež vpliv vlastností rôznych typov sadzí na jednotlivé charakteristiky butadién styrénových zmesí, ktoré boli zisťované pomocou rotačného a oscilačného bezrotorového reometru. Zvláštna pozornosť bola venovaná stužujúcemu efektu sadzí a charakterizácii tohoto javu, ktorý bol meraný dvoma odlišnými postupmi, tj. Payne efekt a bound rubber, a tie boli následne po-rovnané. Vzhľadom k tom, že stuženie kaučukových zmesí je veľmi komplexný fenomén a je spolu s problematikou miešania a skladby kaučukových zmesí podrobne popísaný v teo-retickej časti práce. V neposlednej rade bolo okrajovo sledované stárnutie kaučukových zmesí kedže experiment bol závislí od času.

Abstract:

In this master thesis you can find a general introduction into the problematique of the in-fluence of carbon black on the rheological behaviour of rubber compounds. The thesis deals with the influence of carbon black amount and various carbon black properties on each measured characteristic of butadiene styrene compounds. Characteristics were measured using rotational and oscilating rotorless rheometers. A special focus was dedicated to the reifnorcing effect of carbon black and characterization of this phenomenon. The meas-urement of reinforcement was carried out by two different techniques, i. e. Payne effect and bound rubber. Considering the complexity of the reinforcement phenomenon of rubber compounds, this is together with rubber compound mixing and composition all detaily de-scribed in the theoretical part of the thesis. Moreover, the possible rubber compounds? age-ing was monitored since the experiments were time dependent.
