Časově-silová křivka představuje podrobný záznam průběhu sily v čase. Z výsledků mnoha odborných prací víme, že mezi silou stisku lidské ruky a somatickými charakteristikami existuje vztah. Avšak podobných informací týkajících se silové křivky máme jen minimum. Tato práce se věnuje stanovení somatotypu a jeho vztahu k vybraným aspektům časově-silové křivky.
