This thesis focuses on adaptation of Shakespearean themes and motifs in Terry Pratchett’s books of Discworld series. The thesis contains description of Pratchett’s life and career, description of Discworld and analysis of the texts of Lords and Ladies and Wyrd Sisters by Pratchett and Macbeth, Hamlet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare.
