Tato práce se zabývá ztvárněním ženských postav ve vybraných dílech egyptského spisovatele Nadžība Maḥfūze. Nadžīb Maḥfūz je jedním z nevýznamnějších egyptských spisovatelů dvacátého století a je považován za průkopníka románové tvorby v Egyptě. V této práci jsou rozebrány jednotlivé typy ženských postav v Maḥfūzových dílech, a to především v románu Skandál v Káhiře. Tomuto románu je věnována celá …more

This paper examines the portrayal of female characters in selected works of an Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz. Naguib Mahfouz is one of the most important Egyptian writers of the twentieth century and is considered a pioneer of the novel in Egypt.
