Monitoring systems and their usage in road transport

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou monitorovacích systémů v silniční dopravě České republiky. Teoretická část seznamuje s principy dopravní politiky, objasňuje podstatu inteligentních dopravních systémů a monitoringu. Praktická část věnuje pozornost charakteristice vybraných monitorovacích systémů, porovnává je podle stanovených kritérií a vyhodnocuje návrh nejvhodnějšího monitorovacího systému pro konkrétní dopravní společnost.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of monitoring systems in road transport of the Czech Republic. Theoretical part of the thesis introduces the principles of transport policy, clarifies the essence of intelligent transport systems and of monitoring itself. Practical part then pays attention to the characteristics of chosen monitoring systems, compares them according to established criteria and assesses the proposition of the most suitable monitoring system for specific transport company.
