The use of genus Hemerocallis in floristry taking into account the length of bloom

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce se zabývá využitím rodu Hemerocallis ve floristické tvorbě. Předmětem práce bylo hodnocení délky kvetení v různém stupni rozkvětu na vybraném stanovišti a v realizovaných aranžmá. Bylo vytvořeno 11 floristických prací a z výsledků hodnocení vyplývá, že proces kvetení, od otevírání poupěte do úplného zavření květu, nebyl nikdy delší než 36 hodin. Stádium plně vykvetlého květu nikdy nebylo delší než 14 hodin. Od počátku sledování do plného vykvetení méně vyvinutého poupěte uběhlo průměrně 6 dní, je třeba vzít v potaz velikost a vybarvenost poupěte. Rod Hemerocallis je vhodný pro floristickou praxi za předpokladu správného výběru stádia květu pro realizace a zvolení vhodného účelu práce. Aranžmá jsou následně oceněna a určena časová náročnost jejich vypracovaní.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the use of the genus Hemerocallis in floristry. The subject of the work was the evaluation of the length of bloom in different stages of blooming at the selected site and in the realized arrangements. Eleven floristic works were created and the results show that the blooming process, from the opening of the bud to the complete closing of the flower, was never longer than 36 hours. The full bloom stage was never longer than 14 hours. An average of 6 days passed from the beginning of monitoring to the full bloom of a less developed bud, the size and color of the bud must be taken into account. The genus Hemerocallis is suitable for floristic practice, provided the correct selection of the bloom stage for implementation and selection of the appropriate purpose of the work. The arrangements are subsequently valued and the time required to develop them is determined.
