Wearable technologies and smart clothes in the context of Enter 5: the dramaturgical analysis

Anotace:

V diplomové práci předložíme dramaturgickou analýzu mezinárodního festivalu umění, vědy a techniky Enter 5 s podtitulem Datapolis (Praha 2011) se zaměřením na využití nositelných technologií (wearable technologies) a inteligentních textilií (smart clothes). Budeme se věnovat tvorbě Anny Hruškové, Jenny Chowdhury, Kristin O´Friel, Ricarda O´Nascimenta, Tiaga Martinse a Teresy Almeidy prezentované v rámci výstavy Datapolis. V dramaturgické analýze se rovněž zaměříme na koncept města jako datapolis a uplatnění nositelných technologií a inteligentních textilií při obývání takto definovaného veřejného prostoru.

Abstract:

In the thesis we present dramaturgical analysis of the international festival of art, science and technology Enter 5 with subtitle Datapolis (Prague 2011) with the focus on use of wearable technologies and smart clothes. We devote to pieces of work of Anna Hrušková, Jenny Chowdhury, Kristin O´Friel, Ricardo O´Nascimento, Tiago Martins and Teresa Almeida, that were presented at the exhibition Datapolis. In the dramaturgical analysis we also focus on the concept of a city as a datapolis and use of wearable technologies and smart clothes while inhabiting such defined public space.
