The current Mexican urban legend

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na to, jak Mexičaní vnímají své kulturní kořeny. V práci je brán důraz hlavně na současné mýty a pověsti, ale také na původní obyvatelstvo hovořící aztéckým jazykem náhuatl. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na mexickou histtorii od Aztéků po současného Mexičana, tak aby měl čtenář ucelený pohled na toto téma. Praktická část patří informátorům, jejich příběhům a vztahu k mexickým kořenům.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on how Mexicans perceive their cultural roots. The thesis focuses mainly on contemporary myths and legends, but also on the indigenous population speaking the Aztec Nahuatl language. The theoretical part focuses on Mexican history from the Aztecs to the contemporary Mexican, so that the reader has a comprehencive view of the subjects. The practical part includes infromants, their stories and their relationship to mexican roots.
