Policy of Life Style in the Subculture Ambience of Czech Society

Abstract:

Téma bakalářské práce zkoumá charakter pojmu subkultur, dále její hierarchické dělení a konfrontuje etymologii jednotlivých světových subkultur ve vztahu ke zmíněným subkulturám v České republice. Definice jednotlivých subkultur jsou rozebírány, popsány a zasazeny do sociologického kontextu v rámci popkultury z několika hledisek. Teoretická část se týká vymezení subkultur na příkladu příznivců zmíněných hudebních stylů, představitelů odlišných životních filosofií či specifického životního stylu vychýleného z většinového pojetí společnosti. Spojeným tématem je problematika coolhuntingu, fenomén moderního marketingu, který předpovídá aktuální trendy subkultur na základě propracovaných průzkumů definované investigací odborníků z odvětví módy. Zde je i téma popsáno z hlediska marketingu a teoretických poznatků zasazených do kontextu ekonomie. Jednotlivé skupiny jsou dále vymezeny a přiblíženy z perspektivy stoupenců jednotlivých subkultur. Realizace praktické části proběhla formou semistrukturovaných dotazníků realizovaných v prostředí, která byla respondentům generačně nejbližší, například ve virtuálním prostoru Instagram. Praktická část se zabývá otázkou, jak se cítí vnímáni společností stoupenci bodytuningových subkultur. Pak zda je také jejich postoj ovlivněn negativně předobrazem obecné identity této subkultury, pomyslný dojem, který o sobě svým vzhledem zanechávají na druhé.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis analyses the basis of the term subculture, moreover its hierarchical dichotomy and its confronting etymology of the particular global subcultures in this context of aforementioned subcultures in the Czech Republic. The definition of individual subcultures disassembled, described and embedded to the sociological context within the framework of the pop culture from a hundred point of view. The theoretic part linked with subculture deals with the upholders of music genres, the devotees to the exact life philosophy or the concrete lifestyle that is excluded from the majority society. The topic connected with issue of coolhunting, the phenomenon of modern marketing that predicts the up-to-date trends of the subcultures based on the investigation of the experts of the fashion industry. There is also the theme described in terms of marketing and the theoretical knowledge set in the context of the economics. The each segments of the groups are delineated and depicted from the perspective of the followers of individual subcultures. The execution of the practical part is based on the semi-structured questionnaire that were realised in the viral background, generationally closest such as the Instagram. Practical part deals with the question how are the supporters of the bodytuning subculture being perceived by society. Furthermore, whether their attitude is negatively affected by the prototype of the default identity of this subculture, the imaginary impression that leaves an impression on others.
