Functional sentence perspective in Lithuanian

The aim of this thesis is to describe the Lithuanian functional sentence perspective using three different excerpts. The first part describes the theory concerning the functional sentence perspective, exploiting the works of different Czech linguists, mainly Mathesius, Daneš and Firbas. Úlohou tejto diplomovej práce je popísať aktuálne vetné členenie na troch textových úryvkoch v litovčine. V prvej časti práce popisujeme teóriu týkajúcu sa aktuálneho vetného členenia, pričom čerpáme z prác českých lingvistov, a to hlavne Mathesia, Daneša a Firbasa. Venujeme sa vysvetleniu pojmov týkajúcich sa aktuálneho vetného členenia, slovosledu, intonácii, kontextu a tématickým postupnostiam. …more
