Analysis of municipal debt

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována analýze zadluženosti vybraných obcí. První část popisuje obec jako základní územní jednotku a vysvětluje pojmy týkající se jejího hospodaření. Další část se věnuje zadluženosti obcí, uvádí příjmy a výdaje obcí v ČR, jmenuje možnosti krytí zadluženosti a nástroje k řešení zadluženosti. Následně je v diplomové práci provedena analýza vybraných obcí. Součástí práce je analýza nástrojů, které obce využívají k eliminaci či minimalizaci jejich zadluženosti a možné řešení zadluženosti obcí.

Abstract:

The thesis is aimed to the analysis of indebtedness of selected municipalities. The first part describes the village as the basic teritorial unit and explains terms related to its economy. Next part is devoted to municipal debt, presents revenues and expenditures of municipalities in the Czech Republic, mentions possibilities to cover debt and instruments, which can help to solve the debt. Subsequently, there is an analysis of the selected municipalities in the thesis. The work also includes an analysis of the tools that municipalities use to eliminate or minimize their debt, and possible solutions to municipal debt.
