Electrostatic field in technology and experiments of primary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá výrobou modelu Van de Graaffova generátoru, který může být využitelný jako učební pomůcka. V teoretické části jsou popisovány základní pojmy z oblasti elektrostatiky, využití elektrostatických principů v průmyslu, bezpečnost a ochrana před nežádoucími účinky elektrostatiky. Následně se práce věnuje definici elektrostatických generátorů a jejich historii a základním principům Van de Graaffova generátoru, včetně stručného životopisu amerického fyzika a vynálezce Roberta J. Van de Graaffa. Praktická část je věnována návrhu a výrobě funkčního modelu Van de Graaffova generátoru, popisuje princip jeho fungování, postupu výroby a bezpečnosti používání. Závěr práce tvoří popis pokusů demonstrujících fungování vyrobeného generátoru, na kterém jsou vysvětleny základní principy elektrostatiky a možnosti jeho inovativního využití ve výuce

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the creation of a Van de Graaff generator model that can be used as a teaching tool. The theoretical part covers the fundamental terminology of electrostatics, the application of electrostatic principles in industry, as well as safety and protection from unwanted electrostatic effects. Following that, it discusses the concept of electrostatic generators, their history, and the fundamental principles of the Van de Graaff generator, as well as a brief biography of American physicist and inventor Robert J. Van de Graaff. The practical part focuses on the design and production of a working model of the Van de Graaff generator, or even the operation principle, manufacturing techniques, and user safety. The conclusion of the thesis consists of a description of experiments demonstrating the functioning of the manufactured generator, on which the basic principles of electrostatics and possibilities of its innovative use in teaching.
