Abstract:

Cíl: Diplomová práce se zabývá kvalitou života laických pečovatelů, kteří pečují o seniory v domácím prostředí. Metodika: Pro kvantitativní výzkum byla zvolena metoda sběru dat formou anonymního dotazníkového šetření. Data byla získána za pomocí standardizovaných dotazníků QOLLTI-F, SF-12, testů ADL a IADL doplněných otázkami zjišťujících sociodemografické údaje. Základní soubor tvořilo 110 respondentů, kteří splňovali všechna kritéria pro zařazení do výzkumného šetření. Dotazníkové šetření proběhlo od září 2017 do ledna 2018 u klientů Sociálních služeb města Havířov. Výsledky: Kvalita života respondentů v jednotlivých doménách dle dotazníku QOLLI-F byla hodnocena jako lehce nadprůměrná 6,4 (p<0,05). Nižší kvalitu života vykazovaly ženy. V generickém dotazníku SF 12 byla nejhůře hodnocena doména celkové zdraví s aritmetickým průměrem 50,5 a doména psychické zdraví s průměrem 51,9. Při statistickém vyhodnocení hypotéz bylo zjištěno, že kvalita života pečovatelů je ovlivněna činiteli jakými jsou pohlaví, věk seniorů, společné bydlení, mírou soběstačnosti seniorů a celkovým zdravotním stavem. Závěr: Kvalita života laických pečovatelů je ovlivňována mnoha činiteli. Pečovatelé jsou vystavováni zátěžovým situacím, které ohrožují jejich zdravotní stav, a to zejména psychické zdraví. Je potřeba neustále mapovat jejich situaci a hledat účinné zdroje pomoci, které budou kvalitu života laickým pečovatelům zlepšovat.

Abstract:

Objectives: This thesis deals with the quality of life of non-professional carers who take care of elderlies at their homes. Methods: The qualitative research was based on a method of data collection via anonymous questionnaires. The data was gained from standardized questionnaires QOLLTI-F and SF-12, and ADL and IADL tests. Questions asking about sociodemographic information were added to the questionnaires. The studied group was based on 101 participants who had met all the criteria needed for inclusion into the research. The questionnaire survey was being carried out since September 2017 until January 2018 in the Havířov Social Help Centre. Results: The life quality of the participants in each of the domains according to the QOLLI-F questionnaire has been assessed slightly above the average 6,4 (p<0,05). Lower quality of life has been found out among women. In the generic questionnaire SF 12, the overall health domain has been assessed with the lowest figure, the arithmetic mean of 50,5, and also the mental health domain with the arithmetic mean of 51,9. During the statistical assessment of the hypotheses it has been found out that the quality of life of the carers is affected by number of factors, such as sex, the age of elderlies, living conditions, the self-sufficiency of elderlies, and the overall state of health. Conclusion: Various factors influence the quality of life of laic carers. Carers get involved in stressful situations which endanger their state of health, especially their mental health. It is advisable to monitor their situation and search for effective source of help that could enhance their quality of life.
