This master‘s thesis deals with subtitles translation commentary for the film Rasskazy directed by Mikhail Segal. The director is also the scriptwriter. The thesis consists of three major parts. The first and theoretical part concerns the film as well as the director‘s biography, audiovisual translation and subtitling.
