The library in the life of preschool children

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Knihovna v životě žáka 1. stupně základní školy se v teoretické části zabývá dějinami knihoven, dále následuje pojetí dětského čtenářství a jeho význam. Zamýšlí se nad faktory, které mají vliv na dětské čtenářství a knihovna je další oblastí, kterou teoretická část popisuje. Empirická část diplomové práce, která je stěžejní, přináší výsledky výzkumu, který byl zkoumán pomocí dotazníků, přičemž respondenty výzkumu tvořili žáci 4. a 5. tříd základních škol a knihovníci. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda v dnešní době patří četba mezi oblíbené činnosti dětí, kolik z nich knihovny pravidelně navštěvuje, co čtou nejraději, zda se účastní akcí pořádaných knihovnami a také, zda knihovny spolupracují s ostatními organizacemi.

Abstract:

Thesis The library in the life of preschool children is engaged in history of libraries in the theoretical part, followed by the concept of children's reading and it is importance. Considers the factors that have an impact on children's reading and the library is another area in which the theoretical part describes. The empirical part of the dissertation, which is main, presents the results of research that has been studied using questionnaires, the research respondents consisted of pupils 4th and 5th grades of primary schools and librarians. The aim of the research was to determine whether today is a reading popular activities among children, many of them regularly visits the library, what they prefer to read, whether participating in events organized by libraries and whether libraries are collaborating with other organizations.
