Diplomová práce je biografií významné židovské rodiny Porges von Portheim, která v Praze na Smíchově vybudovala továrnu na potiskování kartounu a svou produkcí se stala jednou z nejvýznamnějších v tomto výrobním odvětví. Cíle: - obecně popsat stav textilního průmyslu v 18. a 19. století v Čechách - charakterizovat význam židů pro české hospodářství - lokalizovat oblast, kde vznikla Porgesova továrna …more
Abstract:
My thesis is a biography of an important Jewish family named Porges von Portheim which built a cotton printing factory in Prague. Their production became one the most important and successful in their branch of production. Points: -describe textile industry in Czech in 18th and 19th century -characterize importance of Jews for Czech industry -create biographies of most important members of Porges von …more
