Odvětví textilního průmyslu mělo v České republice značně bohatou a slavnou historii. Na tuto bohatou historii měla velký podíl oblast severních Čech, zejména Liberecký a Ústecký kraj. In Czech republic, the textile industry used to have rich tradition there. Especially the Liberecký and Ústecký kraj played a significant role in this. The textile industry is the oldest industry which also participated considerably on the formation of The Industrial Revolution.
