Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce s názvem Rodinné vztahy v povídkách Terézy Novákové a K. V. Raise se zabývá životem a dílem jmenovaných autorů. Nejprve nám práce nastíní, jak se žilo na venkově v druhé polovině devatenáctého století, ve kterém vznikly povídky, jež se staly předmětem zkoumání diplomové práce. Kdo další z autorů se nechal inspirovat v této době venkovem a jaký nejčastější žánr jim poskytl literární ztvárnění, bude zkoumat další kapitola. Těžištěm diplomové práce je analýza rodinných vztahů ve vybraných povídkách obou autorů, ve kterých nám realisticky přibližují venkov druhé poloviny devatenáctého století. V neposlední řadě je v práci vyloženo, do jaké míry se rodinné vztahy v povídkách Terézy Novákové a K. V. Raise ztotožňovaly a naopak, co v jejich podání bylo rozdílné.

Abstract:

The Diploma thesis titled 'Family Relationships in Short Stories Written by Teréza Nováková and Karel Václav Rais' deals with the lives and works of the mentioned writers. Firstly, the thesis focuses on the way people lived in the countryside in the second half of the 19th century when the short stories, which are investigated in this thesis, were written. The next chapter examines other writers who were also inspired by the countryside at that time and which genre was the most commonly used to depict such theme. The core of the thesis is the analysis of family relationships in the chosen short stories of both authors where the countryside in the second half of the 19th century is described. Lastly, the thesis is concerned with the similarities and differences in the depiction of family relationships between the short stories by Teréza Nováková and the short stories by Karel Václav Rais.
