Physiotherapy of children with burn injury

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou popáleninového traumatu s důrazem na popáleninové úrazy dětí. Práce je rozčleněna na dvě základní části. V teoretické části je stručně popsána historie léčby termického traumatu, anatomie a funkce kůže a podstata vzniku popáleninového traumatu. Další kapitoly se věnují klasifikaci popálenin, jejich vzniku, a možnostem prevence. Následující kapitoly pojednávají o možnostech léčby, komplikacích a rehabilitačních metodách využitelných u termického úrazu a psychologických následcích popáleninového traumatu. V praktické části je zpracována kazuistika šestileté dívky s termickým postižením, která obsahuje postup a použité metody fyzioterapie u této dívky.

Abstract:

The main topic of this work is the burn trauma with focus on children injuries. The structure has been split up into two main parts. The theoretical part describes briefly the history of burn trauma therapy, anatomy and functions of skin and also the fundamentals of burn trauma. The next chapters deal with the classification of burn injuries, their causes and possibilities of prevention. The following chapters then introduce the possibilities of treatment, complications and applied physiotherapeutic methods and psychological consequences of burn trauma. The practical part contains the casuistry of a six-year-old girl with burn trauma, mainly the procedure and physiotherapeutic methods carried out in her case.
