Leisure Time of Students at Residential Hall

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá pohledem studentů na jejich volný čas v domově mládeže. Teoretická část je věnována tématu volného času, tak jak jej chápeme dnes, volnému času dnešní mládeže, vymezení vývojového období adolescence, a popisu zařízení, ve kterých může mládež svůj volný čas trávit. Empirická část analyzuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumného šetření, během kterého bylo provedeno osm rozhovorů s žáky střední odborné školy, ubytovanými v domově mládeže. Jejich prostřednictvím práce zjišťuje, jak mládež vnímá různé aspekty života v domově mládeže, především volný čas.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the students' view of their free time in the high school dormitory. The theoretical part deals with the topic of free time - as we understand it nowadays, free time of today's young people, the definition of the adolescent development period and the description of the facilities in which young people can spend their free time. The empirical part analyzes results of the qualitative research, during which eight interviews with the pupils of the secondary vocational school were held in the dormitory. Through those interviews this thesis explores how young people perceive different aspects of life in the dormitory, especially the leisure time.
