Reception of Czech and Slovak literature in the Ljubljanski zvon magazine in the years 1881-1900

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarise the reception of the works of Czech and Slovak writers in the period between 1881 and 1900 in the Slovenian magazine Ljubljanski zvon. The thesis deals with the reception of fiction and poetry as reported by various contributors to the periodical. It also briefly summarises the cultural con-tacts between the mentioned countries in the second half of the 19th century and the emergence and development of the magazine until 1900.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto bakalárskej diplomovej práce je sumarizácia recepcie tvorby českých a slovenských spisovateľov v období medzi rokmi 1881 až 1900 v slovinskom časopise Ljubljanski zvon. Práca sa venuje najmä recepcii prózy a poézie, o ktorých informovali rôzni prispievatelia daného periodika. V krátkosti sú aj zhrnuté kultúrne styky medzi menovanými krajinami v druhej polovici 19. storočia a vznik a vývoj časopisu do roku 1900.
