The relationship between selected manifestations of risk behavior and engagement in leisure activities during adolescence

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je prozkoumat vztah mezi vybranými projevy rizikového chování a účastí na volnočasových aktivitách u žáků 2. stupně základních škol v obci Děčín v Ústeckém kraji. Studie analyzuje data získaná z dotazníkového šetření, které bylo realizováno výzkumným týmem Anreva Solution s.r.o. v roce 2023 a zahrnuje 902 respondentů, z toho 413 (45,8 %) chlapců a 489 (54,2 %) dívek. Hlavním za-měřením bylo užívání návykových látek, konkrétně alkoholu, marihuany, tabákových cigaret, elektronických cigaret, kratomu a nikotinových sáčků. Výsledky ukázaly, že žáci, kteří se nezapojují do volnočasových aktivit, mají tendenci častěji užívat alkohol, marihuanu, klasické cigarety a elektronické cigarety než žáci, kteří se do aktivit zapo-jují. U kratomu a nikotinových sáčků nebyly zjištěny významné rozdíly. U dívek byl tento obraz podobný, zatímco u chlapců byl zjištěn rozdíl pouze v užívání elektronic-kých cigaret. U mladších žáků rozdíly zjištěny nebyly. U starších žáků byl vztah pro-kázán pouze v užívání marihuany.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explore the relationship between selected mani-festations of risky behavior and participation in organized leisure-time activities among students of the second stage of elementary schools in the town of Děčín in the Ústí nad Labem Region. The study analyzes data obtained from a questionnaire survey conducted by the research team of Anreva Solution s.r.o. in 2023, including 902 respondents, of whom 413 (45.8%) were boys and 489 (54.2%) were girls. The main focus was on the use of addictive substances, specifically alcohol, marijua-na, tobacco cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, kratom, and nicotine pouches. The re-sults showed that students who do not participate in leisure-time activities tend to use alcohol, marijuana, classic cigarettes, and electronic cigarettes more often than students who participate in these activities. No significant differences were found in the use of kratom and nicotine pouches. The pattern was similar among girls, while among boys a difference was found only in the use of electronic cigarettes. No dif-ferences were found among younger students. Among older students, the relation-ship was proven only in the use of marijuana.
