Drugs and toxikomania in the school environment

Abstract:

ABSTRAKT Diplomová práce je zaměřena na současnou situaci sociálně patologických jevů v prostředí školy. V dnešní době stále klesá věková hranice, kdy se děti poprvé setkají s drogou, a proto se objektem výzkumu záměrně stali žáci 6-9. tříd. V teoretické části jsou přiblíženy důležité pojmy pro snadnou orientaci v této problematice. Dále jsou podrobně popsány jednotlivé skupiny drog a také důvody, jež mohou mládež k experimentování s návykovými látkami vést. Pozornost je rovněž zaměřena na úzkou spojitost možné toxikomanie se školním prostředím. Praktická část je věnována samotnému výzkumu, kdy byla zjišťována informovanost, zkušenost s konkrétními drogami, dostupnost, důvod zneužívání návykových látek a rizikové faktory, které mohou být impulsem k užívání drog. Metodu, kterou jsem pro tento výzkum zvolila, je forma dotazníku. Celkem bylo osloveno 73 respondentů ve věku 12-15 let. Z toho je 41 dívek a 32 chlapců. Po vyhodnocení výzkumu vyvstal jednoznačně znepokojující fakt, že k drogám mají přístup stále mladší děti. Nemalý vliv na to mají právě kontakty s kamarády a možnost sehnat si návykové látky u nich. Také školní a rodinné prostředí se na vzniku toxikomanie může značně podílet. Pozitivní je, že stále nejvíce informací o problematice drog žáci získávají při výuce.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT The thesis is focused on today situation of socio-pathological phenomena in the school environment. Nowadays, the age limit of children who have drugs-related experience is dangerously coming down. On this account I chose for the object of my research the sixth and ninth year students of primary school. In the theoretical part I describe the basic terminology to make the orientation in the text easier. This part also includes the characterization of individual drugs groups and the reasons that may lead to experimentations with drugs among young people. The attention is also given to a plausible close connection between the toximania and the school environment. The practical part is devoted to the research itself. It deals with the experience with drugs, general know-how, availability, reasons for the drug abuse and the risk factors that might bet he provocation for drug taking. The method that I chose for this research is a questionnaire. Altogether, there were 73 respondents at the age of 12?15. There were 41 girls and 32 boys. After the data evaluation, worrying facts came out that showed, that there are more and younger people who have an access to drugs. Considerable influences on children represent their friends who serve as the means to an easy drug obtaining. Family and school environment might take a signifiant share in the occurrence of toximania, too. Most of the information about the drug problem is provided by school at the seminars, which is positive.
