Catalogue of hydrometeorological extremes in Moravia in the 20th century with impacts on agriculture

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá extrémními hydrometeorologickými jevy na Moravě ve 20. století, jejich prostorovou a časovou analýzou a rozborem vybraných extrémních let. Předmětem studia je vztah mezi zemědělskou produkcí a meteorologickými podmínkami, tedy jak meteorologické podmínky ovlivňují výnosy v zemědělství. Práce se zabývá také analýzou meteorologických podmínek ve 20. století s případným vlivem na výnosy v zemědělství. Studie zahrnuje i stručnou charakteristiku vývoje zemědělství a dostupné zdroje meteorologických informací.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the extreme hydrometeorological phenomena in Moravia in the 20th century, covering the spatial analysis, time analysis and also the study of selected extreme years. The object of study is the relationship between agricultural production and meteorological conditions, that is to say, how meteorological conditions affect profits in agriculture. The work also deals with the analysis of meteorological conditions in the 20th century, with a potential impact on profits in agriculture. The study also includes a brief description of the development of agriculture and available sources of meteorological information.
