Anotace Bakalářská práce „Kvalita života seniorů žijících v DPS Rosice“ má za úkol zjistit, jak vnímají svůj život senioři žijící v tomto zařízení. Bakalářská práce se skládá ze dvou částí, a to z části teoretické a části empirické. Teoretická část je úvodem do problematiky stáří a stárnutí. Přiblíží nám obory, které se danou oblastí zabývají, je zde definován termín kvalita života i pojem aktivní a pasivní stáří. V teoretické části jsou dále uvedeny druhy sociálních služeb, určených seniorům, včetně platné legislativy. V empirické části je blíže specifikováno prostředí, ve kterém žijí vybraní respondenti, což je Dům s pečovatelskou službou v Rosicích. Úkolem výzkumu bylo zjistit metodou strukturovaných rozhovorů, jak jsou senioři žijící v DPS Rosice spokojeni s kvalitou svého života. Rovněž bylo zkoumáno, zda si respondenti myslí, že se rozhodli před nástupem do DPS Rosice správně, a jestli svého rozhodnutí nelitují.

Abstract:

Annotation The diploma thesis ” The Seniors´ Quality of Life in the Rosice Day Care Home“ deals with the fact of the seniors´ perception of living in this facility. The thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical and the empirical. The theoretical part is the introduction of the issues of old age and aging. It describes the domaines concerning these issues. The terms called the quality of life and the active and passive old age are defined here, too. The types of social services intended for old people including the valid legislation are mentioned in the theoretical part as well. The environment where the respondents live, the Rosice day care home, is closely specified in the empirical part. The aim of the research was to find out by the way of the method of structured dialogues the answer to the question of the seniors´ contentment with their living in the Rosice day care home. It was also researched whether the respondents thought that their decision to move into the Rosice day care home was right and whether they did not regret taking this decision.
