Achievement motivation of people in managerial positions

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na výkonovou motivaci osob v manažerských pozicích. Cílem práce bylo teoreticky analyzovat problematiku výkonové motivace a realizovat výzkum na vzorku manažerů různých úrovní řízení. Data byla získána polostrukturovaným rozhovorem spolu s dotazníkem výkonové motivace. Výsledky přináší informace o faktorech, které posilují motivaci a demotivaci, a o tom, jaké rozdíly se projevují ve výkonové motivace u středních a vrcholových manažerů. V závěru práce jsou spolu s konkrétními výsledky formulována doporučení pro další výzkumné otázky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on achievement motivation of people in managerial positions. The aim of the work was to theoretically analyze the issue of performance motivation and to conduct research on a sample of managers of various levels of management. The data were set by a semi-structured interview together with the Achievement Motivation Inventory. The results provide information on the factors that strengthen motivation and demotivation, and what differences are reflected in achievement motivation for middle and top managers. At the end of the work, together with specific results, recommendations for other research questions are formulated. Summary includes specific results and recommendations for other researches as well.
