Sankce v režimu vodního zákona jsou prostředkem k vyvozování odpovědnosti u fyzických osob, právnických osob a fyzických osob podnikajících za porušení povinností vyplývajících buď přímo z vodního zákona nebo podle vodního zákona stanovených. The penalties imposed under The Act on Water Use are an instrument for drawing liability of natural persons, legal persons and individuals carrying business for breaching the duties imposed on them directly by the provisions of The Act or duties laid down in accordance with The Act.
