Analysis of Czech language textbooks for the 7th grade of elementary school and their didactic use with a focus on the issue of syntax

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu učebnic českého jazyka s orientací na 7. třídu a s konkrétním zaměřením na problematiku syntaktického učiva. Teoretická část se věnuje pojmům, které jsou spojeny s učebnicí jako didaktickým prostředkem edukace. Stěžejní kapitoly teoretické části obsahují veškeré pojmy týkající se učebnice, jejího postavení na českém trhu a zejména RVP. Následně se autorka zaměřila na didaktiku českého jazyka a hodnocení učebnic. Diplomová práce obsahuje také kapitolu spojenou s charakteristikou nakladatelství SPN a Fraus. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu vybraných učebnic českého jazyka, které byly vyhodnoceny jako nejpoužívanější v 7. třídě na základních školách. Učebnice jsou také hodnoceny pomocí rastru hodnoticích kritérií a kapitola se podrobně zaměřuje na učivo skladby. Dále je provedeno také testování znalostí žáků v rámci vybrané problematiky. V praktické části jsou taktéž objasněny cíle a metody výzkumu a dochází k jeho vyhodnocení.

Abstract:

The focus of this diploma thesis is on an analysis of Czech language textbooks in the seventh grade on a lower secondary school, specifically oriented to the problematics of syntax. The theoretical part is devoted to the terms connected with a book as a didactical means of education. Crucial chapters of the theoretical part contain all the terms related to a textbook, its position on the Czech market and most importantly in our Framework Educational Programme. Subsequently, the author evaluates the didactics of the Czech language in the books and the books themselves. The diploma work includes also a chapter connected with the characteristics of SPN and Fraus publishing houses. The focus of the practical part is on the analysis of chosen Czech language textbooks which were presented as the most used in the seventh grade on a lower secondary school. The textbooks are evaluated also with the help of criteria-evaluating range and this chapter also includes a subject of syntax. Further testing of pupils is realised within the selected areas. In the practical part the survey goals and methods are also clarified, and the survey is assessed.
