Theatrical elements in the Ruthenian folklore
Abstract:
Tématem diplomové práce bude hledání divadelních prvků v rusínských folklórních zvycích a tradicích se zaměřením na konkrétní události a svátky. Práce zohlední i opačný proces, tj. zobrazování rusínského folklóru v inscenacích Divadla Alexandra Duchnoviče v Prešově.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with a wide range of habits and traditions contained in the Ruthenian folklore. Its theme is looking for theatre elements in the Ruthenian customs and traditions, focusing on specific events and feasts. The work will also deal with the opposite process – depicting the Ruthenian folklore in the productions of Alexander Duchnovič Theatre in Prešov.
