This Bachelor Thesis deals with possibilities and limitations of Montessori Method in the education of socially disadvantaged children. The goal of this thesis is to analyse this approach as a way of education that levels the chances of socially disadvantaged children entering the compulsory school education with the chances of children without this disadvantage. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá možnosťami a obmedzeniami, ktoré má Montessori pedagogika pri práci so sociálne-znevýhodnenými deťmi. Cieľom práce je analyzovať túto koncepciu ako spôsob vzdelávania, ktorý vyrovnáva šance sociálne-znevýhodnených detí pri nástupe povinnej školskej dochádzky so šancami detí bez tohto znevýhodnenia.
