Occurrence of turnip yellows virus in winter rape and its molecular characterization

Abstract:

Tato práce obsahuje literární přehled o viru žloutenky vodnice a jeho molekulární charakteristiku. Dále je zde zmíněn přenašeč mšice broskvoňová (Myzus persicae). Cílem mé experimentální části bylo detekovat virus žloutenky vodnice (Turnip yellows virus) v porostu řepky ozimé (Brassica napus) pomocí molekulární metody PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). V poslední části jsem pracovala se získanou sekvencí viru žloutenky vodnice. Výsledkem mé práce bylo nalezení viru žloutenky vodnice na několika lokalitách na Moravě, v termínu listopad 2017 a v dubnu 2018.

Abstract:

This work contains a literature review of Turnip yellows virus and its molecular characteristics. There is also mentioned a peach aphid carrier (Myzus persicae). The aim of my experimental part was to detect Turnip yellows virus in winter rape (Brassica napus) using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). In the last part I worked with the sequence of turnip yellows virus. The result of my work was I found Turnip yellows virus in several localities in Moravia, in the period of November 2017 and in April 2018.
