Wine tourism: comparison of Bohemia and Moravia

Abstract:

Na Českou republiku lze nahlížet jako na unikátní stát, jelikož se rozkládá přímo ve středu Evropy na velmi úrodné půdě a v zemědělsky dobrých klimatických podmínkách. Tento fakt v minulosti vyústil ve vyvinutí jedinečných pokrmů i nápojů. Díky zmíněnému dobrému klimatu se na české půdě daří vinné révě, což dává předpoklad pro vytvoření specifických vín. Vinná réva se pěstuje na 17 611 ha vinic, z čehož se 16 973 ha nachází na Moravě a 639 ha v Čechách. V obou oblastech tak vzniká z hlediska vinařské turistiky určitý potenciál.Cílem bakalářské práce je porovnání dvou vinařských oblastí, Čech a Moravy. Tradice pěstování vinné révy existuje po dlouhou dobu v obou oblastech, ale v návaznosti na historické události je situace v odvětví vinařství rozdílná. V práci je jako hlavní metoda použito srovnání. Aby došlo ke srovnání, bylo nejdříve potřeba situaci vinařské turistiky analyzovat pomocí věcných i číselných údajů.

Abstract:

The Czech Republic can be seen as a unique state, as it lies directly in the centre of Europe on very fertile soil and in good agricultural climatic conditions. In the past, it resulted in the development of unique dishes and drinks. Because of the good climate, the vineyards can easily grow and bear, which gives preconditions for the creation of specific wines. The grapevine is cultivated on 17,611 ha of vineyards, of which 16,973 ha are in Moravia and 639 ha in Bohemia. In both areas, the potential of wine tourism can be found. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare two wine regions, Bohemia and Moravia. The tradition of grape cultivation has existed for a long time in both areas, but in addition to historical events, the situation is different. In the thesis, a comparison is used as the main method. To compare, it was first necessary to analyze the situation of wine tourism using both factual and numerical data.
