Abstract:

Cílem této práce je zmapovat, popsat a ověřit možnosti odhadu vývoje kurzu měnových párů na mezinárodním trhu FOREX. Existuje mnoho metod využívaných k vytvoření takového odhadu. Dvěma hlavními směry jsou Fundamentální a Technická analýza. V textu práce se zabývám hlavně technickou analýzou, konkrétně svíčkovými grafy. Principem technické analýzy je odhad budoucího vývoje na základě studia historických dat. Při odhadování budoucího vývoje je hlavní určit trend. Studium historických dat ukazuje časté opakování určitých scénářů během změny nebo před změnou trendu. Tyto scénáře cenového vývoje mohou být znázorněny jako grafické formace na svíčkových grafech. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjištění efektivity odhadu učiněného pomocí svíčkových grafických formací a možnosti jeho využití při obchodování na FOREXu. Testování efektivity bylo provedeno pomocí softwarových prostředků. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány základní principy technické i fundamentální analýzy. Dále text práce obsahuje principy a historii technické analýzy včetně vývoje technik používaných pro grafické zobrazování cenového vývoje. V další části jsou popsány jednotlivé grafické formace, jejich význam a využití. V praktické části je vysvětlen princip a složení programu použitého pro testování svíčkových formací. Podmínky, předpoklady a výsledky testů jednotlivých svíčkových formací i obchodních systémů složených z více svíček následují v další části práce. V závěru práce shrnuji výsledky provedených testů, srovnávám je s vyřčenými předpoklady a uvádím možnosti aplikace zjištěných skutečností.

Abstract:

Goal of this thesis is to map, describe and verify possibilities of price prediction made for currency pairs in FOREX (FOreign EXchange market). There are many methods used to make such prediction. Two of them, Fundamental and Technical analysis are considered to be the main. Technical analysis, specifically Candlestick charts is main concern of this work. Technical analysis principle is prediction of the future price in the market based on historical data study. Very important matter during the price prediction is to determine a trend. Study of historical data shows that certain scenarios are often repeated during or before change of trend. These scenarios of price development can be represented by Candlestick charts patterns. Main goal of this work is to measure efficiency of prediction made based on the candlestick formations and estimate its usability during trading FOREX. Efficiency testing was done by using the MetaTrader software. Basic principles of technical and fundamental analysis are described in theoretical part of this work. History of technical analysis with development of techniques used for graphical representation of the price change is described in the same part of the text. Next part describes the candlestick patterns itself, their meanings and usage. The explanation of working principles and composition of program used to test candlestick patterns are described in the practical part. Conditions, presumptions and results of performed tests on solo candlestick formations, and trade systems made by combination of more candlestick patterns follows in next chapter. Summary of the results from the tests, their confrontation with presumptions and possible applications in trading are presented at the end of the work.
