Internal and External Obstacles to Professionalism of Roma Musicions
Abstract:
Tato práce je věnována tématu romské hudby. Jejím cílem je zjistit vnitřní a vnější překážky na cestě k profesionalitě romských hudebníků. Teoretická část zahrnuje stručnou historií Romů na našem území dvacátého a dvacátého prvního století, romskou hudbu a romské tradicemi ve své původní i nynější podobě. Praktická část pojednává o vnitřních i vnějších překážkách, které výzkum odhalil.
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the topic of Roma music. It aims at discovering internal and external obstacles on the way to Roma musicians' professionalism. The theoretical part includes brief Roma history on our territory within the twentieth and twenty-first centuries and deals with Roma music and Roma traditions in both their original and current form.
