Land cover mapping using neural networks
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá klasifikací obrazových dat pomocí umělých neuronových sítí (ANN) za účelem tvorby map druhů povrchu. Využitá data byla pořízena radiometrem ASTER. V programu GEOMATICA byla klasifikována území s rozdílným charakterem landuse (zastavěné a nezastavěné) pomocí vícevrstvé sítě s učícím algoritmem zpětného šíření chyby. Abstract:
This thesis deals with the image classification using artificial neural networks (ANN) focused on land cover mapping. Using image data from radiometer ASTER, two areas of different landuse (urban and rural) were classified by multi-layer percetron (MLP) and back-propagation learning. The thesis compares the results of ANN classification with the method of maximum likelihood.
