Mariánský sloup na náměstí Svobody v Brně

Abstract:
Práce se zabývá tématem mariánského morového sloupu v Brně a jeho autorů. Líčí průběh stavby, podobu a ikonografii sloupu, pokouší se o stylovou charakteristiku. Zařazuje sloup do kontextu života ve městě a pojednává o životech sochařů Ferdinanda Pfaundlera, Baltasara Frobela a Jana Kašpara Pröbstla, kteří se podíleli na jeho výzdobě, a o dalších jejich pracích, které se v Brně dochovaly.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with the Marian plague column in Brno and its authors. It describes the progress of construction, resemblance and iconography of the monument and characteristics of its style.
