Private banking in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Privátní bankovnictví v České republice“ je vyhodnotit dosavadní vývoj privátního bankovnictví v České republice v návaznosti na možnosti jeho dalšího rozvoje v regionu Jižní Morava s přihlédnutím k potenciálu jeho rozvoje v Erste Private Banking. V úvodní části je definována banka, privátní bankovnictví, investiční bankovnictví a bankovní marketing. V praktické části jsou analyzovány Erste Private Banking, její konkurenti a typičtí klienti. Dále jsou pak analyzovány makroekonomické ukazatele, které určují možnost rozvoje bankovní sítě, a nejdůležitější trendy ve vývoji privátního bankovnictví.

Abstract:

The aim of the given thesis “Private banking in the Czech Republic” is to evaluate the development of private banking in the Czech Republic in relation to possibility of its further development in the region of South Moravia with regards to its potential for development in Erste Private Banking. In the first part there are defined bank, private banking, investment banking and banking marketing. In the practical part there are analyzed Erste Private Banking, its competitors and typical clients. There are also analyzed macroeconomic indicators, which determine possibility of development of banking networks and the most important trends in private banking.
