Abstract:
This master´s thesis concentrates on the characteristics of the complex of Sebasteion in Aphrodisias, which is located in Asia Minor. The Sebasteion is a monument of roman imperial cult situated in the area with a greek tradition, which was built in the 1st century AD. Práca je zameraná na charakteristiku komplexu Sebasteionu v Afrodisias nachádzajúceho sa na území Malej Ázie. Sebasteion je pamätník rímskeho cisárskeho kultu na území s gréckou tradíciou pochádzajúci z 1. storočia n.l. Budova bola náhodne objavená v roku 1979 a následné intenzívne výkopové práce priniesli množstvo sochárskeho materiálu, ktorý je možné rozdeliť do 4 skupín: cisárske reliéfy, reliéfy …more
