Project to establish a new mobile hospice service in the Ústí Region

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou mobilní hospicové péče a procesu zřizování služby v této oblasti. Mobilní hospic je zde vnímán ve svém plném významu komplexní zdravotně sociální služby s důrazem na respektování a podporu člověka na konci života a rovněž jeho rodiny či nejbližší komunity. Cílem práce je analyzovat faktory podporující nebo bránící vzniku nové mobilní hospicové služby. K tomu byly využity zdroje z oblasti legislativy a nastavení procesů, byla provedena sekundární analýza dat v oblasti potřebnosti a dostupnosti služby mobilního hospice a proveden kvalitativní výzkum. Výstupem je projektový plán pro zřízení nové služby, která vychází z potřeb regionu a doplní nabídku poskytované paliativní péče.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of mobile hospice care and the process of setting up a service in this area. Mobile hospice is understood here in its full meaning as a comprehensive health and social service, with an emphasis on respecting and supporting the person at the end of their life, as well as their family or immediate social circle. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the factors that support or hinder the establishment of a new mobile hospice service. To do this, sources from the legislation and process settings fields were used, secondary data analysis was utilized in the areas of need and availability of a mobile hospice service and qualitative research was conducted. The final output is a project plan for the establishment of a new service, that is based on the needs of the region and will complement the range of palliative care provided.
