The child's personality and bullying

Abstract:

V mé bakalářské práci se zabývám šikanou a jejím dopadem na osobnost dítěte. Cílem této práce je vymezit tyto dopady a charakterizovat odlišnosti v osobnostních rysech oběti od ostatních. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. V teoretické části se zabývám vývojem dětí v pubertálním věku, vymezením pojmů šikana, agresor a oběť. Dalšími tématy jsou minulost šikany, druhy, formy a stupně šikany, motivy, průběh a řešení šikany. V empirické části jsem zpracovala výzkumné šetření zaměřující se na odlišnosti v míře zastoupení charakteristických osobnostních rysů šikanovaných a nešikanovaných dětí. Pro výzkum jsem použila osobnostní dotazník HSPQ spolu s depistážním dotazníkem. Pro analýzu výsledků jsem použila program IBM PSS a T test. Výzkum se konal na druhém stupni základních škol ZŠ Porubská a ZŠ Krestova. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 27 % obětí a 73 % nešikanovaných. Na základě výsledků výzkumu není mezi šikanovanými a nešikanovanými dětmi statistiky významný rozdíl v míře zastoupení určitých osobnostních charakteristik. Z toho vyplývá, že obětí nemusí být nutně slabý, úzkostlivý, vystrašený introvert, ale v podstatě kdokoliv.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis, I deal with bullying and its repercussions on a child's personality. The aim of this thesis is to define these repercussions and characterize the differences in the personality traits between the victim and the others. This thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. In the theoretical part, I deal with the development of children in adolescence, the definition of bullying, aggressor, and victim. Other topics are the past, types, forms, degrees, motives, and course of bullying, and solutions to bullying. In the empirical part, I conducted a research survey focusing on differences in the proportion of personality traits of bullied and non-bullied children. For the research, I used the HSPQ personality questionnaire together with the screening questionnaire. I used the IBM PSS program and a T-test to analyze the results. The research took place at the second stage of Porubská and Krestova primary schools. The research group consists of 27 % of victims and 73 % of non-bullied people. Based on the results of the research, there is no significant difference in the representation of certain personality characteristics between bullied and non-bullied children of the statistics. It follows that the victim does not necessarily need to be a weak, anxious, frightened introvert, but basically anyone.
