Guaninové kvadruplexy jsou čtyřřetězcové struktury DNA vyskytující se v oblastech genomu bohatých na guanin a byla prokázána jejich biologická funkce. Různá přirozená poškození narušují tvorbu G-kvadruplexu. V práci je studována závislost vzniku kvadruplexu na pozici chybějících guaninů. Guanine quadruplexes are four-stranded DNA structures that are found in regions of the genome rich in guanine and their biological function has been demonstrated. Numerous natural lesions disrupt formation of G-quadruplex. In this work, we study the dependence of quadruplex formation on the position of missing guanines.
