Forest Kindergartens from the Perspective of Parents

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářská práce je pohled rodičů na lesní mateřské školy v Ústeckém kraji. Cílem práce bylo zjistit a analyzovat, jaký vztah mají rodiče k přírodě a jak tyto postoje souvisí s jejich pohledem na lesním mateřské školy a to v případech, ať už se jedná o rodiče, jejichž děti přímo navštěvují lesní typ předškolního vzdělávání, anebo rodiče dětí z klasických mateřských škol. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na část teoretickou a část empirickou. V teoretické části je stručně popsán pojem alternativního vzdělávání s jeho funkcemi a dělením, dále jsou zde představeny alternativní typy předškolního vzdělávání v ČR - Montessori, waldorfská pedagogika, daltonská škola, Začít spolu a lesní mateřské školy, kterým je z důvodu volby tématu bakalářské práce věnován širší prostor, který umožní detailnější popis tohoto fenoménu. Nastíněn je zde také vývoj lesních mateřských škol ve světě a v České republice, jejich filosofie a typy, rozdíly mezi lesními mateřskými školami a klasickými mateřskými školami a jejich výhody a nevýhody, se kterými se můžeme v rámci lesních mateřských škol setkat. Empirickou část tvoří výzkum, který byl realizován prostřednictvím dotazníků, který byl určen pro rodiče dětí navštěvující lesní mateřské školy a klasické mateřské školy.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the perspective of parents on forest kindergartens in the Ústí Region. The aim of the work was to find out and analyse what kind of relationship parents have with nature and how these attitudes are related to their view of forest kindergartens/nature preschools, whether they are parents whose children directly attend forest-type preschool education or parents of children from classic kindergartens. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical part, and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, the concept of alternative education with its functions and how its divided is briefly described, hereafter, the types of preschool education in the Czech Republic are presented in the theoretical section - Montessori, waldorf pedagogy, dalton school, Začít spolu and forest kindergartens, to which, due to the choice of the topic of this bachelor's thesis, it is dedicated a wider space that will allow a more detailed description of this phenomenon. The development of forest kindergartens in the world and in the Czech Republic, their philosophies and types, the differences between forest kindergartens and classic kindergartens and the advantages and disadvantages that we can encounter in forest kindergartens are also outlined in this thesis. The empirical part consists of research that was carried out through questionnaires intended for parents of children attending forest kindergartens and traditional kindergartens
