Abstract:
Pichia pastoris je eukaryotická kvasinka, schopná post translačních úprav proteinů, což je velká výhoda oproti běžně v biotechnologiích využívané E. coli. Táto kvasinka je schopna metabolizovat metanol a její gen zodpovědný za expresi alkoholoxydázy (AOX1) je zároveň silný inducibilný promotor. Abstract:
Pichia pastoris is an eukaryotic yeast, able to do posttranslational modifications of proteins and protein folding in comparison to other microorganism used in biotechnologies, E. coli. This yeast is also able to metabolize methanol and the gene responsible for expression of alcoholoxidase responsible (AOX1) is utilized as strong promoter.
