První knihou je román Neopouštěj mě, kde jsou hlavními postavami klony vytvořeni lidstvem pouze pro darování orgánů. The aim of the thesis is to examine how technology impacted characters in two of Kazuo Ishiguro’s books. The first book discussed is Never Let Me Go, where the main theme are clones and their donations of vital organs. The second book, Klara and the Sun, deals with artificial friends as companions to technologically advanced children. Then the the-sis examines themes that these books have in common …more
