Abstract:
My thesis deals with the nationalism in Scotland, one of the countries, that proven themselves worthy of maintaining their own cultural identity and heritage The thesis describes nationalism, devolution and Scotland as well as Scottish nation, its language and symbols. Abstract:
V první části práce jsem vysvětlil pojmy nacionalismus a devoluce, které jsou stěžejní pro zvládnutí tématu. Dále jsem se široce zabýval samotným Skotskem ? klíčovými kapitolami z jeho historie, které budovaly duch národa a jeho symboly. Práci uzavírám pojednáním o úspěšné skotské devoluci, Skotské národní straně a Skotském parlamentu.
