Law of iterated logarithm: from laws of large numbers to the central limit theorem

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the laws of large numbers, the law of iterated logarithm and the central limit theorem. The thesis is divided into 3 parts. In the first part, we will recall basic notions of probability, important theorems and relations. Subsequently, in the second part, we will use those notions in the substantiation of limited implications. In the third part we will extend the iterated logarithm theory and the central limit theorem by graphical depiction via the application on a symmetric random walk and a standard Wiener process. For this purpose, we will be using mathematical environment R. The thesis includes also individual source codes with the description.

Abstract:

V této práci se věnujeme zákonům velkých čísel, zákonu iterovaného logaritmu a centrálním limitním větám. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. V první si připomeneme základní pojmy pravděpodobnosti, důležité věty a vztahy. Ty využijeme v druhé části při dokazování limitních tvrzení. Ve třetí části rozšíříme teorii zákona iterovaného logaritmu a centrální limitní věty o grafické znázornění aplikací na symetrickou náhodnou procházku a standardní Wienerův proces. Využijeme při tom matematické programové prostředí R. V práci přiložíme jednotlivé zdrojové kódy i s popisem.
