Activities for seniors with a focus on reducing intergenerational gap

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pomocí kombinovaného výzkumu zjišťovala, jaké dostupné aktivity pro seniory na území Královéhradeckého kraje se zaměřením na snížení mezigenerační propasti jsou v praxi nejvíce využívané. Práce byla rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část analyzovala pojmy a uvedla do problému demografických změn, změn v postojích vůči seniorům v rodinách, stárnutím a narůstající propastí mezi generacemi. Současně byla uvedena vhodná strategie společnosti ke snižování mezigenerační propasti. Praktická část pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjišťovala, které z dostupných mezigeneračních aktivit jsou z pohledu odborných pracovníků nejvíce využívané. Pomocí analýzy textu uvedla nejčastější aktivity na území Královéhradeckého kraje.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis used a combined research to find out which activities available for the elderly in the Hradec Králové Region with a focus on reducing the intergenerational gap are the most used in practice. The thesis was divided into two parts. The theoretical part analysed the concepts and introduced the problem of demographic changes, changes in attitudes towards seniors in families, ageing and the growing gap between generations. At the same time, appropriate strategies for society to reduce the intergenerational gap were presented. The practical part of the survey investigated which of the available intergenerational activities are the most used from the point of view of professionals. Using text analysis, it listed the most frequent activities in the Hradec Králové Region.
