Evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment project for automated sorting of waste plastics

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením efektivnosti investičního projektu na třídění a recyklaci plastů. Nejprve je uvedena obecná charakteristika investičních projektů z hlediska jejich členění, fází životnosti projektu a jejich rozpočtů. Pak jsou popsány metody hodnocení efektivnosti. Dále se práce zabývá charakteristikou konkrétního investičního projektu na třídění a recyklaci plastů, stručnou technicko-ekonomickou studií projektu a jeho SWOT analýzou. Následně jsou vyčísleny kapitálové výdaje a peněžní příjmy projektu, které zásadně ovlivní vyhodnocení jeho efektivnosti. Pro hodnocení jsou zvolena peněžní kritéria. Tyto zvolené metody jsou aplikovány na vybraný projekt. Pro větší zobrazení skutečnosti je dále do hodnocení zahrnuta i inflace. Efektivnost projektu nemusí být ovlivněna jen inflací, ale i dalšími faktory, proto je provedena analýza citlivosti, která naznačuje, které faktory mají na projekt největší vliv.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the effectiveness of the investment project of sorting and recycling plastics. First, it describes the general characteristics of investment projects in terms of their classification, life phases of the project and their budgets. Then there are mentioned the methods of evaluation of effectiveness. Next, the thesis deals with the characteristics of a particular investment project of sorting and recycling of plastics, brief technical-economic study of the project and its SWOT analysis. After that are estimated capital expenditures and cash income of the project, which would significantly affect the evaluation of its effectiveness. To evaluate are selected financial criteria. These methods are applied to the particular project. For a larger view of reality is also included the inflation. The effectiveness of the project need not be affected only by inflation, but by another factors. So in thesis are made sensitivity analysis that indicates which factors have the greatest influence on the project.
