Post-internet Condition – Blurring the Boundaries between Online and Offline Worlds

Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce se zaměřuje na post-internetovou situaci, jako na současnou společensko-ideovou proměnu statusu internetu. Zabývá se virtuálním prostředím internetu, které prostupuje do fyzického prostředí – internet se stává všudypřítomným. Práce především představuje zásadní změnu tvorby webového obsahu s nástupem Webu 2.0. Pevný obsah webových stránek byl nahrazen možností aktivní participace na utváření podoby webu pro všechny uživatele. Práce si klade za cíl reflektovat stírání hranic mezi virtuálním a fyzickým prostředím za pomoci vizuální tvorby v době post-internetové situace a objasnění změn v umělecké praxi vlivem internetu za pomoci široké škály přístupů post-internetového umění, které uvědoměle reaguje na post-internetovou situaci v kultuře.

Abstract:

Bachelor Diploma thesis is focused on the post-internet condition as a current social-ideological change of status of the internet. It is concerned with virtual internet environment which pervades physical environment – internet becomes ubiquitous. The work mainly represents a great change of web content creation with Web 2.0 commencement. The settled web site content was replaced by possibility of active participation in creating of web form for all users. The goal of this work is to reflect as virtual and physical environment fades away with help of visual formation in post-internet condition and change clarification in art practice by influence of internet with help of wide approach of post-internet art which deliberately reacts on post-internet condition in culture.
