Analysis of Relationships between the European Union and Developing Countries

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the European Union´s external relations with third countries. The first chapter focuses on third world countries, also referred to as developing countries and their subdivisions and causes of backwardness of their economies. The second chapter is devoted to the global economy and integration, which are of interest in the integration on third world countries to European markets. The third chapter describes the EU policy, in particular the common commercial policy and development policy and its funding instruments. The final fourth part is devoted to the EU´s external relations with third countries, which is divided into two parts. The first part is dedicated to the development of external relations before signing the Lisbon Treaty (2009) and the second part describes the EU´s relations with third countries by region at present.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vonkajšími vzťahmi Európskej únie s krajinami tretieho sveta. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na krajiny tretieho sveta, označované aj ako rozvojové krajiny a ich členenie a príčiny zaostalosti ich ekonomík.Druhá kapitola je venovaná svetovému hospodárstvu a integrácii, ktoré majú svoj význam pri začleňovaní krajín tretieho sveta na európske trhy. Tretia kapitola popisuje politiky EU, konkrétne Spoločnú obchodnú politiku a Rozvojovú politiku a jej nástroje financovania. Záverečná štvrtá časť je venovaná vonkajším vzťahom EU s krajinami tretieho sveta, ktorá je rozdelená na dve časti. Prvá časť je venovaná vývoju vonkajších vzťahov pred podpísaním Lisabonskej zmluvy (2009) a druhá časť popisuje vzťahy EU s krajinami tretieho sveta podľa regiónov v súčasnosti.
